Bernhard Winkler (cameraman)

Bernhard Winkler (* 1956 in Emsland ) is a German photographer and cameraman .

Act

After studying visual communication at the Berlin University of the Arts , Winkler worked as a cameraman for around 20 years and is now a freelance photographer. Although he worked on a few movies, there are two children's series, Neues vom Süderhof and Die Kinder vom Alstertal , which are known throughout Germany. As a photographer, Winkler has several collective exhibitions as well as solo exhibitions, including Catholic , which was shown in the Borken City Museum in 2008 .

His work as a photographer has received several awards. He received a nomination for the Sony World Photography Awards 2009 and two honorable mentions at the IPA Photographer of the year 2005 and 2009.

Winkler currently lives and works in Berlin.
