Bernhard from Beverförde to Werries

Bernhard von Beverförde zu Werries (* around 1605 ; † October 24, 1636 in Twente ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Origin and family

Bernhard von Beverförde came from the Westphalian noble family Beverförde zu Werries and was the son of Johann Christoph von Beverförde zu Werries († 1626) and his wife Kiliana von Brabeck . His brother Johann Friedrich († 1670, ∞ Ida von Plettenberg zu Lehnhausen) was the tribe, his brother Bernhard Engelbert (1609–1690) subdeacon and assessor of the Landespfennigkammer.

Act

With the receipt of the tonsure on February 25, 1625, Bernhard was prepared for a spiritual life. Already on March 3rd it was presented for a cathedral priest in Münster . On April 9, 1625 he took possession of it. His request to allow him early emancipation because of his mother's financial needs was granted. So emancipation fell on July 17th of that year. Bernhard died of the rampant plague in Twente .
