Bernie Mallinger

Bernie Mallinger (born June 23, 1969 in Wolfsberg ) is an Austrian musician from Vienna . In 2007 he and Oliver Mally and Klaus Paier were nominated nationally for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the category Jazz / Blues / Folk Album of the Year for the album Steppin 'Out .

Life

Bernie Mallinger studied violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and passed the first diploma examination in 1993 and the second in 1996. Mallinger has been working as a freelance musician since 1997 and has been teaching instrumental practice for violin-jazz at the Graz University of Art since the winter semester 1999/2000 .
