The Beron Point (English; Bulgarian нос Берон nos Beron ) is a headland on the southwest coast of Robert Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is 4.5 km southeast of Negra Point , 1.7 km west of Bajo-Nunatak , 1.8 km west-northwest of Zahari Point and 3.7 km northwest of Edwards Point and 5 km northeast of Ash Point from Greenwich Island beyond English Strait .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the Bulgarian scientist and educator Petar Beron (≈1800–1871).
