Bersone (in the Trentino dialect: Barsùn , German outdated: Bersaun ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Valdaone in Trentino in the autonomous region of Trentino-South Tyrol .
geography
Bersone lies at an altitude of 637 mslm 40 kilometers west-southwest of Trento on the Chiese river on the orographic right side of the valley in the Inner Judiciary .
history
With effect from January 1, 2015, Bersone merged with the municipalities of Daone and Praso to form the new municipality of Valdaone . On December 31, 2013, the municipality of Bersone had 289 inhabitants on an area of 9.8 km². Neighboring communities were Castel Condino , Daone, Pieve di Bono , Praso and Prezzo .
