Praso is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Valdaone in the province of Trento , region of Trentino-Alto Adige .

Praso is located about 39.5 kilometers west-southwest of Trento in the Inner Judicaria on the orographic left side of the valley of the same name, through which the Chiese flows, at 785 m slm

history

The Corno plant , a barricade and fortress on the Austro-Hungarian southern border with the Kingdom of Italy , is located near Praso .

Until 2014 Praso was an independent municipality and was merged with the municipalities of Daone and Bersone to form the new municipality of Valdaone with effect from January 1, 2015 . On December 31, 2013, the municipality had 328 inhabitants on 9.8 km². Neighboring communities were Bersone, Daone, Lardaro , Pieve di Bono and Roncone . The municipality of Praso was part of the valley community Comunità delle Giudicarie .
