The Comunità delle Giudicarie ( Italian for Community of Judiciaries ) is a valley community of the Autonomous Province of Trento . The association of municipalities has its administrative seat in Tione di Trento .

The valley community in the western half of Trentino extends along the upper reaches of the Chiese and the upper and middle reaches of the Sarca . It comprises the municipalities of the Inner Judiciary from the Campo Carlo Magno Pass to Tione di Trento and the neighboring municipalities to Lake Idro, as well as the municipalities east of Tione di Trento including those of the Outer Judiciaries . The valley community of Judicaria borders in the west and south on the province of Brescia in Lombardy, in the north on the valley community of the Soletal , in the northeast on that of the Non Valley , in the east on the Paganella and Valle dei Laghi and in the southeast on the valley community Alto Garda and Ledro . With a total area of ​​1,175.18 km², the Giudicarie valley community is by far the largest valley community in the Autonomous Province of Trento and almost twice as large as the second largest valley community Vallagarina .

Protected areas

There are 19 Natura 2000 protected areas and 29 communal biotopes in the Judikarien valley community . Furthermore, are part of the Adamello-Brenta in the field of valley community and to some extent the UNESCO - Biosphere Reserve Alpi Ledrensi e Judicaria .
