Fiavé is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 1075 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Trento , Trentino-Alto Adige region . It belongs to the valley community Comunità delle Giudicarie .
geography
The municipality of Fiavé is located about 22.5 kilometers west-southwest of Trento at an altitude of 660 m slm in the Outer Judiciary .
Administrative division
The municipality of Fiavé consists of four fractions : Ballino, Favrio, Fiavé (municipality seat) and Stumiaga as well as ten hamlets or scattered houses ( Italian Località ): Doss-Torbiera, Curé, Valec, Castelcampo, Molin, Ca Noa, Pineta, Cornelle, Castil and Val dei Cagni.
history
The earliest settlement of the parish area can be dated to the time around 2300 BC. In Fiavé Largo Carera , the old pile dwellings are protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site .

The former Strada Statale 421 dei Laghi di Molveno e Tenno (today the provincial road 236) leads through the municipality from Ton to Riva del Garda .
