Madruzzo is an Italian commune with 2902 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Trento ( Trentino-Alto Adige region ). It is part of the valley community Comunità della Valle dei Laghi .

geography

The municipal seat in Lasino is about 12 kilometers southwest of Trento on the orographic left side of the valley in the Valle dei Laghi .

The municipality also includes the fractions : Calavino , Lagolo, Lasino , Pergolese and Sarche.

The municipality borders on the municipalities of Cavedine , Comano Terme , Dro , San Lorenzo Dorsino , Trento and Vallelaghi .

history

The municipality of Madruzzo was created in 2016 from the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Lasino and Calavino. It existed under the same name from 1928 to 1953.
