In the national team

The talent of the young footballer was also recognized early on, and accordingly she went through the national age group selection teams from 2007 onwards. With these she brought it to 17 B-youth internationals (one hit) by 2009, then in 2010 and 2011 to 14 A-youth matches. Marion Torrent took part in the European Championships with both the B girls ( 2009 , winner in the game for third place) and a year later with the French U-19 and won a continental medal with both of them. At the U-19 European Championship in Macedonia , she played all four first games, including the hard-fought semi-final against her German contemporaries, but in the final, in which her bleuettes prevailed against England and secured the title, she braised 90 Only on the bench for minutes. In the same year she came to the U-20 World Cup in Germany in the preliminary round match against Colombia for a use.

From 2011, she was no longer considered in a blue dress for three years; she herself had the goal of playing for France's women's senior national team, but never lost sight of it during this period. Then, in 2014 and 2015, she got a 90-minute chance in France's B-Elf, in which she only became a fixture in 2017 with seven further appearances - including the Istria Cup , in which she even scored two goals. The national coaches Philippe Bergeroo and Olivier Echouafni had also accepted Marion Torrent several times in their extended circle for A-internationals - for example, she had been in the USA at the SheBelieves Cup 2016 - and even nominated her as one of six reservists in France's squad for the World Cup 2015 and the European Championship 2017 . But she did not make her first appearances in this circle until September 2017, when Echouafni's successor Corinne Diacre even included her in the starting XI on her own debut in three friendship encounters. Consequently, Marion Torrent was also appointed to the French 23-man squad for the 2019 World Cup in her own country .
