Ossana (outdated German Wulsan or Wulsein ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 834 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the northwest of the province of Trento , region of Trentino-South Tyrol . It belongs to the valley community Comunità della Valle di Sole .

geography

Ossana is located about 40 km north-north-west of Trento in the upper Val di Sole at 970  m slm at the entrance to the Peio Valley. At Ossana, the Torrente Vermigliana from Val Vermiglio flows into the Noce . The municipality borders on that of the municipalities of Carisolo , Peio , Pellizzano , Pinzolo and Vermiglio .

Administrative division

The two factions Cusiano and Fucine belong to Ossana .
