Spormaggiore (German outdated: Altspaur ) is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 1276 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Trento , region of Trentino-South Tyrol . It belongs to the valley community Comunità della Paganella .

geography

Spormaggiore is five kilometers from the Rocchetta junction and has apple growing in common with the villages of Val di Non . The neighboring municipalities are Ton , Mezzocorona , Mezzolombardo , San Michele all'Adige , Fai della Paganella , Nave San Rocco , Zambana .

history

As a result of the fascist municipal reform in 1927, the neighboring municipalities of Cavedago and Sporminore were incorporated into the new municipality of Spor in 1928 . In 1947 the three places were again dissolved into independent municipalities and Spor again.
