Cembra Lisignago is an Italian municipality with 2338 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Trento ( Trentino-Alto Adige region ). It is part of the valley community Comunità della Val di Cembra .

geography

The main town of Cembra is located about 13.5 kilometers north-northeast of Trento on the orographic left side of the Cembra Valley through which the Avisio flows . The two districts of Cembra and Lisignago are about three kilometers apart. The municipality borders the municipalities of Albiano , Altavalle , Giovo , Lona-Lases , Segonzano and the South Tyrolean municipality of Salurn .

history

The municipality of Cembra Lisignago was created in 2016 from the merger of the previously independent Cembra and Lisignago.

The municipal area next to Cembra and Lisignago also belongs fraction Lago Santo and lake.

The Strada statale 612 della Val di Cembra , which connects Lavis in the Adige Valley with Castello-Molina di Fiemme in the Fiemme Valley , runs through the two districts .
