Lisignago is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Cembra Lisignago in the province of Trento in the Trentino-Alto Adige region . Lisignago was an independent municipality until 2015.

The place is about 11.5 kilometers northwest of Trento on the Avisio at an altitude of 582 mslm on the orographic right side of the valley of the Cembra .
history
The foundation of the place has been handed down for the year 1004 or 1027.
On January 1, 2016, Lisignago merged with Cembra to form the new municipality of Cembra Lisignago. Lisignago had 538 inhabitants on December 31, 2015 on an area of 7.16 km². Neighboring communities were Albiano , Cembra and Giovo . The community belonged to the valley community Comunità della Valle di Cembra .
