Albiano (German outdated: Albian ) is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 1485 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Trento ( Trentino-Alto Adige region ).

geography

The municipality is located about 10 km north-northeast of Trento on the orographic left side of the Cembra Valley at an altitude of 644  m slm . Their area is 9.0 km². Albiano borders the following municipalities: Giovo , Cembra Lisignago , Lona-Lases , Trento, Fornace and Civezzano .

Administrative division

The municipality of Albiano also includes the two fractions Barco di Sopra and Barco di Sotto.

Population development

Albiano is made up of approximately 537 households . According to the figures of the ten-year census of the ISTAT , the population increased in the period 1991-2001 by 3.4%.
