Lavis (pronounced: Lavìs ; German, outdated: Laifs , also: Nevis ) is an Italian municipality with 9113 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019), on the Avisio in Trentino in Italy , north of Trento . It belongs to the valley community Comunità Rotaliana-Königsberg .

Fractions are Pressano, Sorni and Nave San Felice ( Sankt Felix ). Neighboring municipalities are Giovo , San Michele all'Adige , Terre d'Adige , Trient and Vallelaghi .
