Tenna (German obsolete Atzenach ) is a municipality in the Italian autonomous province of Trento with 1045 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) on an area of 3 km². The village is located on a hill between two lakes, Lago di Levico and Lago di Caldonazzo in the Suganer Valley . The Alberè and Feghini fractions also belong to the place.
Tenna was on the Roman road Via Claudia Augusta . A Roman stone on the central square testifies to this. The Church of St. Assunta is also located there. On the eastern edge of the village outside of Tenna is the Austrian Tenna barrage from the 19th century, which, together with the Colle delle benne plant near Levico Terme, was supposed to block the upper Valsugana and thus the way to Trento .
