Brentonico (German outdated: Frenten , in the Trentino dialect: Brentònek ) is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4012 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Trento in the Trentino-South Tyrol region . The municipality is located about 30 kilometers south-southwest of Trento . Brentonico is nestled between the Adige and Lake Garda and borders directly on the province of Verona .

The municipality of Brentonico includes, in addition to the municipality of Brentonico, another 6 fractions : Castione , Cazzano, Crosano, Cornè, Prada, Saccone and Sorne as well as the three tourist centers San Giacomo, San Valentino and Polsa.
