Trambileno (German outdated: Trumbeleis or Trumelays ) is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1479 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in Trentino in the Trentino-South Tyrol region .

location

The municipality is located about 22 kilometers south-southwest of Trento between the two arms of the Torrente Leno, the Leno di Terragnolo and the Leno di Vallarsa, from which the municipality name (German between the two Lenos ) is derived. It belongs to the valley community Comunità della Vallagarina and borders directly on the province of Vicenza ( Veneto ). The neighboring municipalities are Rovereto , Vallarsa , Terragnolo and Posina and Valli del Pasubio in the province of Vicenza. The administrative headquarters are in the district of Moscheri . The municipality includes the northwestern foothills of the Pasubio with the Rifugio Vincenzo Lancia and the Lago di San Colombano .

Administrative division

In addition to the municipal seat in Moscheri, the municipality of Trambileno also includes 18 other fractions or hamlets or isolated houses: Acheni, Boccaldo, Ca 'Bianca, Clocchi, Dosso, Giazzera, Lesi, Pian del Levro, Porte, Pozza, Pozzacchio, Rocchi, S Colombano, Sega, Spino, Toldo, Vanza and Vignali.
