Comunità della Vallagarina
The Comunità della Vallagarina ( Italian for Community of the Camp Valley ) is a valley community of the Autonomous Province of Trento . The association of municipalities has its administrative headquarters in Rovereto .
location
The Vallagarina valley community comprises the communities of the southernmost section of the Adige Valley , in the so-called Vallagarina , and those of its side valleys. It extends from the northern boundary of the municipality of Besenello near Murazzi , a narrow point in the Adige Valley, about 10 km south of Trento to the provincial border near Borghetto. The capital and largest municipality is Rovereto . The local authority differs geographically from the valley of the same name, which extends beyond the provincial border to the Veronese Klause in the province of Verona and does not include the side valleys. The valley community borders in the north on the intermunicipal administrative cooperation Territorio della Val d'Adige , in the northeast on the valley communities Alta Valsugana e Bersntol and Altipiani Cimbri , in the northwest Laghi and in the west on the valley community Alto Garda e Ledro . In the south and east the border of the valley community runs parallel to the provincial border with the provinces of Verona and Vicenza of the Veneto region . The Vallagarina valley community has a total area of 622.63 km².
