The Comunità territoriale della Val di Fiemme ( Italian for Territorial Community of the Fiemme Valley ) is a valley community of the Autonomous Province of Trento . The municipal association has its administrative headquarters in Cavalese . It is not to be confused with the historic valley municipality of Fleims (Italian: Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme ), which has existed since the 12th century , to which not all municipalities of the Comunità territoriale della Val di Fiemme belong or other municipalities are also affiliated.

The valley community in the north-east of Trentino includes the communities in the Fiemme Valley . It lies between the Adige Valley in the west and the Primör in the east. In the northeast it borders on the Fassa Valley and in the southwest on the Cembra Valley . In the west the San-Lugano-Sattel ( 1097 m slm ) forms the border to the district community Überetsch-Unterland in the autonomous province of Bozen - South Tyrol . In the northwest, the valley community below the Passo di Lavazè ( 1808 m slm ) borders on the Salten-Schlern district community, which also belongs to South Tyrol . In the east, the valley community at Paneveggio borders the Primör east of the Paneveggio reservoir in the Travignolo valley. The southern border with the Valsugana runs over the Manghen Pass ( 2047 m slm ) and along the Lagorai chain. The valley community has a total area of 414.70 km².

Protected areas
In the Fiemme Valley Territorial Community there are 17 Natura 2000 protected areas and 32 other communal biotopes that are managed by the valley community. Parts of the Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Nature Park are also part of the Territorial Community of the Fiemme Valley.
