The district community Überetsch-Unterland ( Italian Comunità comprensoriale Oltradige-Bassa Atesina ) is an amalgamation of 18 municipalities , most of which are in the Überetsch and the Unterland in the south of South Tyrol ( Italy ). President of the district community is the ex-mayor of Truden Edmund Lanziner.

The population is around 75,000 (as of 2014), the area amounts to 424 km². The main town of the community is Neumarkt.

The three main pillars of the economy are viticulture (around 37 km² of cultivation area), fruit growing (around 65 km², mostly apple production) and tourism .

The communities in Überetsch are Eppan and Kaltern , those in the Unterland are Aldein , Altrei , Auer , Branzoll , Kurtatsch , Kurtinig , Leifers , Margreid , Montan , Neumarkt , Pfatten , Salurn , Tramin and Truden . Although located outside of Unterland and Überetsch, Andrian and Terlan also belong to the district community.
