Pustertal (district community)
The district community Pustertal ( Comunità comprensoriale Val Pusteria in Italian , Comunité comprensoriala Val de Puster in Ladin ) was founded in 1969. The district community includes the Pustertal and several side valleys such as the Gadertal and the Tauferer Ahrntal in South Tyrol ( Italy ). The 26 combined municipalities cover an area of 2,071 km² with around 80,000 inhabitants (as of 2014). The main town is Bruneck .
The municipalities of the district community are: Abtei , Ahrntal , Bruneck, Corvara , Enneberg , Gais , Gsies , Innichen , Kiens , Mühlwald , Niederdorf , Olang , Percha , Pfalzen , Prags , Prettau , Rasen-Antholz , Sand in Taufers , St. Lorenzen , St. Martin in Thurn , Sexten , Terenten , Toblach , Vintl , Welsberg-Taisten and Wengen .
