The Comunità Valsugana e Tesino ( Italian for Community of Valsugana and Tesino ) is a valley community of the Autonomous Province of Trento . The municipal association has its administrative headquarters in the municipality of Borgo Valsugana .

The valley community of Valsugana and Tesino, east of Trento , includes the communities in the middle and lower Valsugana as well as the Tesino plateau to the northeast . It borders the province of Vicenza to the south and the province of Belluno to the east , both of which belong to the Veneto region. In the south, the edge of the plateau of the seven municipalities forms the border with Monte Ortigara and its foothills, while in the southeast with the plateau of Marcesina the border with Veneto even runs for a short distance on the plateau of the seven municipalities. In the east, the border runs along the Tesino plateau to the north and then continues along the massif of the Cima d'Asta on the orographic right side of the Vanoi in a north-west direction to Monte Cauriol on the main ridge of the Lagorai , which is also the northernmost point of the Valley community is. Here the valley community borders on those of the Primör and the Fleimstal . From Monte Cauriol the border almost always runs along the Lagorai ridge in a westward direction to the edge of the Fersental , and then in a southerly direction along the eastern edge of the Fersental to the Cima Panarotta above Levico Terme . From here it leads back down into the Valsugana and crosses the latter west of Novaledo . The Cima d'Asta is at 2847  m slm the highest point of the valley community, while the lowest is southeast of Grigno on the course of the Brenta on the border to the Veneto region with about 220  m slm . The valley community has a total area of ​​577.99 km².
