The Comunità Alta Valsugana e Bersntol ( Italian for community Obere Valsugana and Fersental ) is a valley community of the Autonomous Province of Trento . The municipal association has its administrative headquarters in the municipality of Pergine Valsugana .

The valley community of Upper Valsugana and Fersental, east of Trento , includes the communities around the two lakes of Caldonazzo and Levico in the upper Valsugana, as well as those of the side valleys to the south and north. The two northern side valleys, Pine and heels , lying on the southwestern slopes of the Fiemme Mountains counting Lagorai chain. The western and southern area of ​​the valley community with the plateau of the Vigolana and the Centatal, which borders with the Passo della Fricca ( 1110  m slm ) on the valley community of the plateaus of Folgaria, Lavarone and Lusern , belongs to the Vicentine Prealps . On the Vezzena plateau, the valley community to the east of Passo Vezzena ( 1417  m slm ) borders the province of Vicenza, which is part of the Veneto region .

The border to the valley community Valsugana and Tesino in the east and north runs between Levico Terme and Novaledo through the Valsugana and then along the ridge that borders the Fersental on its east side. In the north it borders on the valley community of the Fiemme Valley and to the north-west of the Pinè valley on that of the Cembra valley . At Civezzano and the Marzola ridge to the south, which separates the Valsugana from the Adige Valley in the west , it borders on the urban area of ​​Trento. The valley community of Upper Valsugana and Fersental has a total area of ​​360.12 km².
