Altopiano della Vigolana (Altopiàn dela Vigolana in Trentino ) is an Italian municipality with 5077 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Trento ( Trentino-Alto Adige region ). It is part of the valley community Comunità Alta Valsugana e Bersntol .

geography

The main town Vigolo Vattaro is located on the Vigolana plateau, only a few kilometers from Trento and Lake Caldonazzo at an altitude of 725 mslm. The town's patron saint is St. George .

history

The current community was formed in 2016 from the towns of Bosentino , Campregheri, Centa San Nicolò , Frisanchi, Migazzone, Pian dei Pradi, Valle, Vattaro and Vigolo Vattaro .
