Amblar-Don is an Italian municipality with 541 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Trento ( Trentino-Alto Adige region ). It is part of the valley community Comunità della Val di Non .

geography

The main town Don is located about 34 kilometers north of Trento on the orographic left side of the valley in the Upper Non Valley and eight kilometers northeast of Cles, the main town of the valley. The district of Amblar is located about one kilometer northeast of Don. The municipality borders the South Tyrolean municipalities of Kaltern and Tramin on the Wine Route and the Trentino municipalities of Cavareno , Predaia , Romeno and Sfruz in the Non Valley .

history

The municipality of Amblar-Don was created in 2016 from the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Don and Amblar.

Administrative division

The municipality also includes the former fractions of Amblar Baselga, Bevia, Fontana and Fontana Nuova.
