Mezzana ( Solander : Mezàna ; German outdated: Metzlan ) is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 893 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in Trentino in the Trentino-South Tyrol region . The municipality is located about 37 kilometers northwest of Trento on the Noce and belongs to the valley community Comunità della Valle di Sole .

Strada Statale 42 del Tonale e della Mendola leads through the municipality from Zanica to Bolzano . Mezzana is also the terminus of the Non Valley Railway , which was extended in two phases in 2003 and 2016 from the original Malè terminus to Mezzana.
