Capriana (German outdated Kaferlan ) is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 584 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Trento , in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige . The municipality is located about 27 kilometers northeast of Trento in the Fiemme Valley , belongs to the valley community Comunità territoriale della Val di Fiemme. The municipality borders directly on South Tyrol . The Avisio forms the southern municipal boundary .
