Vallelaghi is an Italian commune with 5103 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Trento ( Trentino-Alto Adige region ). It is part of the valley community Comunità della Valle dei Laghi .

geography

The main town of Vezzano is about 12 kilometers west of Trento on a valley step in the Valle dei Laghi .

history

Today's municipality of Vallelaghi was created in 2016 from the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Vezzano, Padergnone and Terlago .

Administrative division

In addition to Vezzano (municipality seat ), the municipality also includes the fractions : Ciago, Covelo, Fraveggio, Lon, Margone, Monte Terlago, Padergnone, Ranzo, Santa Massenza and Terlago.
