Vezzano is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Vallelaghi in the province of Trento , region of Trentino-Alto Adige .
geography
The place is about nine kilometers west of Trento in the Valle di Laghi and belongs to the valley community Comunità della Valle dei Laghi , whose administrative seat is in Vezzano.
history
Vezzano was an independent municipality until 2015. Since January 1, 2016, it has formed the municipality of Vallelaghi together with Padergnone and Terlago . The former municipal area extended over about 31 km². The districts of Ciago, Fraveggio, Lon, Margone, Ranzo and Santa Massenza also belonged to the municipality of Vezzano.
