Ville di Fiemme is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 2596 inhabitants in the province of Trento (Region Trentino-Alto Adige ).

geography

Ville di Fiemme is located about 61 km northeast of Trento on the orographic right side of the valley of Val di Fiemme, at the foot of the Fiemme Mountains counted Black Horns ( 2439 m slm ). The municipality borders directly on the province of Bolzano in the north and in the west .

history

The municipality was created on January 1, 2020 during a municipal reform through the merger of the municipalities of Carano , Daiano and Varena .

Administrative division

The scattered community of Ville di Fiemme consists of the fractions Aguai ( Aguàe ), Bivio, Carano, Daiano, Dosso Veronza, Maso Cela, Molini Di Baldon, Passo di Lavazè , Solaiolo and Varena. The municipal seat is in Daiano.

politics

So far there has only been one acting mayor: Rolando Fontan. In autumn 2020, the citizens of Ville di Fiemme will take part in the local elections for the first time.
