Ville d'Anaunia is an Italian commune with 4801 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Trento ( Trentino-Alto Adige region ). It is part of the valley community Comunità della Val di Non .

geography

Ville d'Anaunia is a scattered community in the Val di Non on the orographic right side of the valley of the Noce River on the northern foothills of the Brenta Group . The municipal seat in Tuenno is located about 30 kilometers north-north-west of Trento and 4.5 kilometers south-south-west of Cles, the capital of the valley.

The neighboring municipalities are Campodenno , Cles, Contà , Denno , Dimaro Folgarida , Molveno , Predaia , Sanzeno , Spormaggiore and Tre Ville .

history

The municipality of Ville d'Anaunia was created in 2016 from the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Nanno , Tassullo and Tuenno.

Administrative division

In addition to Tuenno (municipality seat ), the municipality also includes the fractions : Campo, Nanno, Pavillo, Portolo, Rallo, Sanzenone and Tassullo.
