Tassullo ( Nones : Tassul ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Ville d'Anaunia in the province of Trento in the Trentino-Alto Adige region .
geography
The place is located about 29.5 kilometers north-northwest of Trento at an altitude of 546 mslm on the orographic right side of the Non Valley . To the northeast of Tassullo lies Lago di Santa Giustina .
history
Tassullo was an independent municipality until 2015 and merged with the municipalities of Nanno and Tuenno on January 1, 2016 to form the new municipality of Ville d'Anaunia. On December 31, 2015, the municipality of Tassullo had 1868 inhabitants on an area of 13.54 km². The factions Campo, Pavillo, Rallo and Sanzenone belonged to it. Neighboring communities were Cles , Nanno, Sanzeno , Taio and Tuenno. The community belonged to the valley community Comunità della Val di Non .
traffic
Strada Statale 43 della Val di Non leads from Cles to San Michele all'Adige through the former municipality . Tassullo train station is on the Trento – Marilleva line .
