Daiano (German outdated: Deyen ) is a fraction and municipality seat of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Ville di Fiemme in the province of Trento , region of Trentino-South Tyrol .
geography
The community is located about 36 kilometers northeast of Trento on the orographic right side of the Fiemme Valley at 1160 m slm on the southern foothills of the Schwarzhorn .
history
Daiano was an independent municipality until 2019 and merged with the neighboring municipalities of Carano and Varena on January 1, 2020 to form the new municipality of Ville di Fiemme .
