Cloz ( Nones : Clòuz , German outdated: Klätz or Klotz ) is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Novella in the province of Trento , region of Trentino-Alto Adige .
geography
The place is located about 39 kilometers north-northwest of Trento in the upper Non Valley at an altitude of 791 m slm not far from the border with Deutschnonsberg , the part of the valley belonging to South Tyrol .
history
Cloz was an independent municipality until 2019 and merged with the neighboring municipalities of Brez , Cagnò , Revò and Romallo on January 1, 2020 to form the new municipality of Novella.

The state road 42 del Tonale e della Mendola runs through the municipality from Treviglio to Bolzano .
