Amblar (German outdated: Ambler ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Amblar-Don and until 2015 was an independent municipality in Trentino in the Trentino-South Tyrol region .

The place is about 36 kilometers north-northeast of Trento at an altitude of 980 m slm on the orographic left side of the valley in the Upper Non Valley .
history
On January 1, 2016, Amblar merged with the Don community to form the new Amblar-Don community. The districts of Baselga, Bevia, Fontana and Fontana Nuova belonged to the municipality of Don. Neighboring communities were the South Tyrolean communities Kaltern and Tramin and the Trentino communities Cavareno , Don, Romeno and Sfruz .
