Bosentino is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Altopiano della Vigolana and until 2015 was an independent municipality in Trentino in the autonomous region of Trentino-Alto Adige .

Bosentino is located about 10 kilometers southeast of Trento at an altitude of 688  m slm on the southeastern foothills of the Marzola. The Migazzone faction still belonged to the former municipality. Until it was incorporated, it was part of the Alta Valsugana e Bersntol valley community . The neighboring communities were Pergine Valsugana , Vigolo Vattaro , Caldonazzo , Calceranica al Lago , Vattaro and Besenello .

history

On January 1, 2016, Bosentino merged with the municipalities of Centa San Nicolò , Vattaro and Vigolo Vattaro to form the new municipality of Altopiano della Vigolana.
