The former is located on the orographic left side of the valley, and was on August 7, 1955 by a triggered by a strong thunderstorms landslide , leading off at the 25,000 m³ gravel and mud, partially buried. After just a few months later, on November 25, 1955, another much larger landslide (250,000 m³) detached itself from the slopes of the Paganella , the place was evacuated. Between 1956 and 1957 the village of Zambana nuova was finally built on the opposite side of the valley.
