Thomas Yeh Sheng-nan ( Chinese  葉勝男 Yè Shèngnán ; born June 26, 1941 in Takao , Japanese Empire ) is a Chinese clergyman , emeritus Roman Catholic archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Thomas Yeh Sheng-nan received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Tainan on March 27, 1971 . He has been in professional philosophy doctorate .

On 10 November 1998 appointed him Pope John Paul II. The titular pro hac vice of Leptis Magna and ordered him to the Apostolic Nuncio in Sri Lanka . He was ordained episcopal by the President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity , Edward Idris Cardinal Cassidy , on December 20 of the same year; Co- consecrators were the official in the Vatican State Secretariat , Curia Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò , and the retired Archbishop of Taipei , Stanislaus Lo Kuang . On April 22, 2004, Thomas Yeh Sheng-nan became Apostolic Nuncio in Algeria and Tunisia .

He retired in 2015. His successor as nuncio in Algeria and Tunisia was Archbishop Luciano Russo .
