Calavino (German outdated: Kalfein ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Madruzzo and until 2015 was an independent municipality in Trentino in the Trentino-South Tyrol region .
geography
Calavino is located about 10.5 kilometers west-southwest of Trento at an altitude of 460 mslm on the orographic left side of the valley in the Valle dei Laghi . The Sarca flows through the former municipality , here is also the Lago di Toblino with Castel Toblino .
history
On January 1, 2016, Calavino merged with the municipality of Lasino to form the new municipality of Madruzzo. The Sarche fraction belonged to the former municipality . The neighboring communities were Dro , Lasino, Comano Terme , Padergnone , San Lorenzo in Banale , Trento and Vezzano .
