Bert Eichhorn

Bert Eichhorn (* 1956 in Berlin ) is a German lawyer and university professor .

Life

Eichhorn studied law , philosophy and economics in Cologne and Lausanne and was a lawyer from 1989 to 2010. In 1991 he received his doctorate in Cologne. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the subject of state responsibility, reparations and reparations in Germany after the Second World War . The dissertation was included in the list of selected works on state responsibility by the United Nations Legal Commission .

Since 2008 he has been professor for international business law and European law at the private SRH University Berlin and since 2014 external professor at the University of Granada . He has guest lectureships at the Technical University of Breslau , at the Neisse University in Liberec, Jelenia Gora and Görlitz, at the Marmara Üniversitesi in Istanbul, at the Grande école de Commerce (INSEEC Business School) in Paris and Bordeaux and at the Universidad Autonoma Querétaro ( Mexico).

Eichhorn was legal advisor at the EU Parliament in Brussels.

He is the head of the Master of Entrepreneurship program and the Master’s program in International Management at the SRH Hochschule Berlin and teaches in the subjects of contract knowledge management, international business law, European law, negotiation and conflict management and internet law. He is also Vice President for International Affairs at the university.

Eichhorn is director of the CMI Berlin research institute at the SRH Hochschule Berlin. Research focuses on Contractual Management , Transcultural Risk Management and Legal Education for Management.
