Bert Mueller

Bert Müller (born January 19, 1963 ) was a soccer player in the GDR Oberliga , where he played a few games for 1. FC Magdeburg .

At the age of eight, Bert Müller was accepted into the children's team at 1. FC Magdeburg and, at the age of 14, was part of the Magdeburg district's national soccer team . On May 15, 1982 Müller had his first assignment in the FCM's league team. In the encounter of the 24th Bundesliga match day 1. FCM - Hallescher FC Chemie (3-0) he was substituted on for right winger Frank Cebulla in the 61st minute . Müller had to wait three years for his next league assignment and during this time he played with the second team of the FCM in the third-rate district league . It was his only major league goal and the only game he played over 90 minutes.
