Bert Roesems (born October 14, 1972 in Halle ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

Bert Roesems, a time trial specialist , was established in 1996 professional at Vlaanderen 2002 . He celebrated his first professional victory in 1999 at the Circuit Franco-Belge , where he also came second in the overall standings. After further stage wins at the Tour de la Région Wallonne , the Tour of Belgium and the Tour of Sweden , he achieved his first overall success in 2003 in the one-day race Grand Prix de Denain . In 2004 he then won a stage of the Lower Saxony Tour and the overall ranking, thus his first stage race . In the following years, Roesems made a name for himself as a good driver on cobblestones after switching to Davitamon-Lotto . He won the Belgian one-day races Brussels-Ingooigem (2005) and Nokere Koerse (2006). At the end of the 2009 season he ended his active cycling career.
