Berta Rahm
Berta Rahm (born October 4, 1910 in St. Gallen ; † October 10, 1998 in Neunkirch ) was a Swiss architect , publisher and women's rights activist .
She studied architecture at the ETH Zurich from 1929 to 1934. Then they went on study trips to Scandinavia and the Netherlands. She then worked in Hallau , Flims and Zurich until she became self-employed in 1940 . As an architect, Rahm was influenced by Scandinavian architecture. In 1966 she ended her work as an architect and founded the ALA Verlag , which specializes in feminist literature . She was a member of the Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects , the Union internationale des femmes architectes and the Federation of Swiss Women's Organizations .
