The Berthelot Islands ( French Îles Berthelot ) are a group of rocky islands off the Graham coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located 2.5 km southwest of Deliverance Point and 6 km south-southwest of Cape Tuxen before the entrance to Collins Bay .
Participants of the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903-1905) under the direction of Jean-Baptiste Charcot discovered them. Charcot named it after the French chemist Marcelin Berthelot (1827–1907). Green Island north of the main island Berthelot Island is under the special protection of the Antarctic Treaty as ASPA 108 .
