Bertin Tomou Bayard (born August 8, 1978 in Bafoussam ) is a former Cameroonian football player .
society
Tomou began his career with PWD Bamenda (1995–1997) and moved to East Asia in 1997, where he played for various clubs until 2005, such as for the Pohang Steelers (1997–1998), Shenzhen Ping'an Insurance (1998–2000), Yunnan Hongta (2000-2002), Shanghai Shenhua (2002-2004) and Xiamen Red Lion (2004-2005). From July 2005 to July 2006 he played for the French second division team Stade Brest and then moved to the Belgian Jupiler League, where he worked for Excelsior Mouscron from 2006 to 2008 and has played with the shirt number 9 for KVC Westerlo since the 2008/09 season . After he moved to KSV Roeselare in the summer of 2010, he didn't really get a chance and left the club in September 2011 for France. In France he then played for US Vaires. Other amateur clubs in Belgium followed. Most recently he played at RE Bertrix and ended his active career there during the 2015/16 winter break.
National team
From 2004 on, Tomou played for the Cameroon national football team for four years and was in the squad for the 2008 African Cup .
