Bertram Maxim Gärtner (* 1987 in Cottbus ) is a German actor .

Life

Bertram Maxim Gärtner gained his first stage experience at the Heilbronn Theater during his school days . From 2009 to 2013 he completed his acting training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art in Berlin . During his studies he played the role of guest worker Jorgos in Ivan Panteleev's Katzelmacher production at the Schaubühne am Schaubühne Berlin . At the BAT studio theater he appeared as Werther in a production by Simon Kubisch . He also performed with the Berliner Landbote at the Maxim Gorki Theater , also directed by Simon Kubisch.

In the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons Gärtner was engaged as a guest at the Heidelberg Theater, where he a. a. the nurse Williams in One flew over the cuckoo's nest (directed by Matthias Kaschig ) and played by Franz in Katzelmacher (directed by Isabel Osthues ). In 2014 he was a guest at the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg .

Bertram Maxim Gärtner has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the ETA-Hoffmann-Theater Bamberg since the 2015/16 season . There he played u. a. König Gunther in Die Nibelungen (2015, directed by Sybille Broll-Pape ), Franz Moor in Die Räuber (2018, directed by Robert Teufel ) and Güldenstern in Hamlet (2019, directed by Sebastian Schug ). In the 2019/20 season he appeared at the ETA Hoffmann Theater as the British bon vivant Jack Worthing in Bunbury .

Gärtner also stood in front of the camera for several film and television productions and worked for the broadcasters ZDF and ARD . In the 9th season of the ZDF series last trace Berlin (2020) he took on one of the episode roles as a friend and business partner of a missing event location manager ( Aaron Karl ). He is also active as a speaker.

Gärtner lives (as of April 2020) in Bamberg .
