Bertram Otto Wilhelm Friedrich Waldemar Count von Quadt zu Wykradt and Isny , since March 12, 1901: Prince of Quadt zu Wykradt and Isny , (born January 11, 1849 in Stuttgart , † May 14, 1927 in Isny im Allgäu ) was a Bavarian colonel and Württemberg registrar.

family

He was the son of Count Otto von Quadt-Wykradt-Isny (1817–1899) and his wife Marie Emilie Countess zu Schönburg -Glauchau, Penig and Wechselburg (1825–1869). Bertram was married to Ludovica Princess von Schönburg-Hartenstein (1856–1932) since 1812. The marriage resulted in six children, including the hereditary count and Württemberg landlord Otto Maria von Quadt-Wykradt-Isny (1880-1933).

Life

Bertram was a landowner in Swabia, Württemberg and Upper Bavaria. He was the Royal Bavarian Premier Lieutenant in the I. Uhlan Regiment, later Colonel a la suite. He was also a royal Württemberg gentleman. In this function he was a member of the First Chamber of the Württemberg Land estates from 1872 to 1918 . From 1972 to 1893 he represented his father as hereditary count, and from 1894 he was legitimized as a civil servant. Since 1874 he was the bearer of the Grand Cross of the Order of Frederick and from 1903 the Grand Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown . Bertram had been a hereditary member of the Chamber of Imperial Councils of Bavaria since 1893. On March 12, 1901 he was raised to the Bavarian prince status.
