Sheratan (also Sheratim , Al Sheratain , from Arabic الشرطان, DMG aš-šaraṭān  'the two signs': Aries and Pisces ) is the proper name of the fixed star Beta Arietis (β Arietis, β Ari for short) in the constellation Aries . Sheratan is about 60 light years away, has an apparent magnitude of +2.64 mag and belongs to the spectral class A5V.

The IAU Working Group on Star Names (WGSN) established the standardized proper name for this star on July 20, 2016.
